Our web application and Google Chrome extension do not collect any user data, browsing history, or pasted URLs.
The Dropbox Direct Link Generator ecosystem functions entirely via client-side local processing:
- Web App Version (GitHub Pages): Runs completely inside your web browser. All link parsing, text processing, and CSV generation are handled locally on your machine via JavaScript. No data is ever sent to external servers.
- Google Chrome Extension: Only converts the pasted link and writes it to the clipboard on the user’s computer. We do not track or store any user information.
Your information is processed exclusively on your browser and your computer. We do not use any services or tools that may collect user data, and we do not share any user information with any third-party services or tools.
We take the privacy of our users seriously and strive to ensure that our tools are completely safe and secure to use.
Third Party Services
Donations are processed securely by Buy Me a Coffee (Publisherr Inc, 2261 Market Street #4610, 94114, San Francisco, United States) and the payment processor chosen by that organization (Stripe). They do not store credit card data on our servers. Payment processing is fully handled by Stripe under PCI Compliance Level 1 standards.
Ad Servers
We do not have partnerships or special relationships with any ad server companies, and we do not host any advertisements.
